Kyle Gage is a 2027 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Cinco Ranch. Slender young build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter at the plate, sets up in an open stance with a tight hand load, short stride into contact, has quick hands and gets the barrel out well, loose hands that project with more strength, can engage his lower half more, projects as a hitter with additional strength. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, showing clean athletic actions while closing to and working through the ball. Clean exchanges and generated uphill carry to the bag topping at 81 mph. Also workout out defensively from the infield smooth paced footwork while working to the ball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange with cleaner actions. Utilized a tap at exchange prior to releasing from an extended three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced accurate carry to the bag topping at 82 mph. On the mound utilized an upright, rock step delivery and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Created good downhill angle to the plate with occasional run in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 81 mph. Also showed a curveball and slider offering, each in the lower 70's. Curveball produced sharper, later depth to the bottom of the zone.
