Owen Harris is a 2029 C/RHP/UT with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Holly Springs, NC who attends Holly Springs. Thicker young build with plenty of strength potential. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow base with a deep pushed hand load, inward toe tap timer into a big shift into his swing, swings hard and is looking to impact the ball, gap to gap contact with a line drive swing plane, flashed some strength in the games. 7.56 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a side saddle stance, quick step and replace into his release, throws from a lower arm slot, emphasis on quickness in his actions, some raw arm for his age with developing accuracy. Also worked out in the infield and outfield, profiles best as a third baseman when not behind the plate. Also pitched, works from a hybrid delivery from the first base side of the rubber, has a compact arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, accelerates well into release and has a quick and loose shoulder, finishes well out front. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with good downhill angle, mostly straight. Curveball was in the mid-60's with some 11/5 shape. Threw strikes with both pitches and had an efficient outing.
