2021 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Tanner Singh is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Gibsonia, PA who attends Pine-Richland HS. Tanner is a mature, solidly built, twitchy and athletic player. In addition to his noticeable ability on the field Tanner is also a commended student in the classroom. He ran a solid 7.14 60 yard dash. A primary outfielder, Tanner shows multiple skills that project. He plays with up-tempo and attacks the ball with confidence. His glove plays and he has a very quick transition. Although his 84 mph throws shows great promise, he is still working on improving consistency with his accuracy. His arm strength, however, is very impressive. At the plate, it is very obvious that Tanner knows what he is doing. He starts with an even, balanced base. Noticeable flexion in his strong lower half. His strength is obvious and knows how to incorporate that into every swing. He has a flatter launch angle and is a line drive machine. As he matures he will unquestionably learn to drive the ball with plus power. Great approach. Sound, projectable ability with the bat. Tanner has all the tools to play at the next level. He has a feel for the game and a maturing body that should allow him to improve even more on his already accomplished game.
