William Austin McNair is a 2026 OF/2B/SS with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Severn, MD who attends Mcdonogh. Athletic frame with lean, wiry strength presently and quickness to his actions with plenty of time to add further physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in a very good 6.90 seconds. Primary position OF, showing first step quickness and feel for angles as he works the glove out front. Deliberate midline transfer into clean, full arm path and generated very accurate throws up to 76 mph back to the infield. RHH starting with a wider initial stance and limited shift to impact. Nice looseness to his actions with the stick and shows the barrel feel that leads you to believe he will really hit. Uses the whole field and leaned on some balls through the oppo gap. Lots of projection in all aspects of his game and still a lot of time for further development. Very good student use well. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
