Luis Valentin-Ramos is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Apollo Beach, FL who attends Lennard. Medium, lean build with good physical projection. 7.72 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder, has solid actions working through the ball with a one hand gather on the side, gets the glove down early, fundamentally sound mover. Good arm strength on display and got all the throws to the bag, recorded accurate throws up to 78 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, stomach high lift out of the windup, simple drop and drive lower half mechanics, arm works nicely to a lower three-quarters arm slot. Has solid angle, ran the fastball into the mid-70s (2426 RPM) and showed a curveball with 12-6 shape in mid-60s (2140 RPM). Left-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow in the stance, inward toe tap into stride, level barrel path through the zone and regularly impacted to the middle of the field. Has hand speed and feel for the barrel. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
