Jackson Fontenette is a 2026 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Klein Cain. High waisted strong build. Right handed hitter, starts from a tall stance with a low hand load and a short stride into contact, upper body rotational swing, can get more from his strong lower half, has strong hands and gets some jump off the barrel when he's squared up, has the tools to improve as a hitter with adjustments. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, shuffling actions through the ball, stays balanced well and repeats his glove work and transitions, strong arm with good extension out front and solid carry. Also pitched and has some two-way potential. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise and full 3/4's arm action, firm front side out front, still developing release consistency. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight. Threw almost fastballs, flashed one curveball. Excellent student.
