Tyler Zandstra is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Alpharetta. Ran a 7.52 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with present tall frame and thin, wiry build with strength in the legs. Slow tempo to windup from the center of the rubber with short arm action to a three-quarter slotted release. Fastball at 80-mph with straight action with occasional sink. Curveball at 70-mph with developing feel and rotation. Changeup at 73-mph with sink, bottom and arm-speed causing it to play up, collecting a lot of swing and miss. Secondary corner infielder with straight path to the ball, staying light on his feet. Clean gather with the glove and transfer to throw from a over-top slot. Produced throws with accuracy across the infield at 76-mph. Right-handed hitter with slightly open stance and hands high outside his ear. Developing feel for the barrel and present bat speed leads to hard hit contact to the pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
