Vaughn Franklin is a 2028 1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Coral Gables. Recorded a 7.93 60-yard dash. Long and lanky frame with physical projection. Fielded the ball off to side in outfield and employed a short arm action, releasing from a 3/4 slot. Also worked out in the infield and moved with longer strides. Showed clean gloveowork and used a compact arm action. Right-handed hitter and starts with a high back elbow and hand set. Fluid swing and turns the barrel over well. Creates whip and stays connecte well with a clean finish. Hit the ball hard often and showed the ability to lift the ball.
