Isaiah Gutierrez is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-6 142 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Pasadena Memorial. Medium athletic build with some present strength for his age. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an aggressive move to his front side, swings hard and with intent, pull side approach, has some power and ability to drive the ball. 8.21 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good mobility and quickness out of his crouch, comes through the ball on his throws, nice arm strength with good accuracy, repeats his actions well. Took a turn on the mound, has a compact high 3/4's arm action that hides the ball well, torques hard into release and gets the most out of his body. Fastball sat in the mid-70's, curveball was a very good pitch for him with hard and tight spin, some bite and good feel for landing the pitch for strikes. Good all around athlete. Named to the 13U/14U South Showcase Top Prospect List.
