Slade Clayton is a 2025 1B/3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Opelika, AL who attends Opelika. Clayton works from a strong broad build with physicality present. Exclusively from his 1B spot, he displayed reliable glove work with a compact arm action that released quickly and accurately across the diamond up to 70 mph. Made plays asked of him with refining footwork and arm strength that should continue to improve in the future. On the offensive end, the righty started from a slightly open base with a compact hand set and small toe tap trigger flashing present strength in the hands. Stayed through the middle of the field well, posting an exit velo of 84 mph. Ran a 7.68 sixty yard dash. Good student.
