Darrien Rodriguez is a 2028 OF/RHP, 1B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Island Coast. Athletic frame with actions to pair, lots of room to continue physical development as well. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, good drive through the baseball, strong and quick release with good carry, high three-quarters slot, has an idea here and works well in the grass, lots to like here. Secondary right-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery, full arm swing in the back to higher slot, some arm side life to the fastball, curveball has vertical shape, two pitch mix works well for the class right now. Took reps at first base, solid actions here and works through it, accurate feeds to second, longer arm action but made the plays, good round. Right-handed hitter, medium and even base, high hands, short leg lift trigger, faster set of hands, higher finish through the baseball, working on bat to ball, things to like in the profile. Athletic overall, solid round of outfield and performed well in the box.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
