2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Lincoln Evans is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Basic. Features a big, durable, projectable frame. Has a four-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball, slider and changeup. Has a big leg kick into a downhill delivery. Throws out of a three-quarter arm slot with long arm action. Has a balanced, repeatable delivery. Slider has sweep coupled with a curveball that has twelve-six movement and depth. Solid arm action with the changeup that showed tumble. Does a nice job driving with the lower half. At first base, he moved well and made the plays with clean glove work. Arm talent was on display with accurate double play feeds. At the plate, he has a wider base with a slightly open stance. Subtle move into launch with present strength in the swing. Had a loud round showing big time juice when timing was right. Found the barrel consistently throughout the round. Ran a 7.30 sixty-yard dash. Named to the 2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List. Excellent Student.
