Max Walding is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-4 121 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Collins. Smaller young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a low and deep hand load, long stride into contact can get him too wide at times, clears his hips early, long and level swing plane. 8.99 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, throws from a higher release point with developing arm strength, fields the ball cleanly when he gets behind it, step by step lateral actions. Took a turn on the mound, has a rhythmic delivery with a hand drop start and a loose arm swing. Fastball worked up to 64 mph with nice sinking action and was thrown for strikes, also mixed in a short soft slider. Plays hard and shows energy on the field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
