Ian Denney is a 2029 3B/RHP/C with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Mater Academy. Bigger physical build with plenty of strength for his age and more to come. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a short stride into his swing. High hand set with a high back elbow and good bat speed. Lots of frequent hard contact to the middle of the field. Can elevate for more power but the ability to impact the ball is without question. Primary third baseman who is a good mover for his size and showed some lateral quickness. Compact arm stroke and showed a quick release from behind the plate too. Secondary right-handed pitcher with natural sinking life to the fastball. Arm side fade to the changeup and a looser curveball. Has the makings of a three pitch mix with projection.
