2026 PG California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Anthony Sanchez is a 2028 3B/OF with a compact 5-11 180 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Mater Dei. Started the event off clocking a 7.50 60-yard dash. A primary third baseman. Shows fundamental actions. Clean round defensively with above average foot speed/quickness. Got to his spots and fielded in rhythm. Glove work showed well to the forehand and backhand side with intent to work through it. Worked quick to release and uses a shorter arm action that got off easy effort throws across with accuracy. Clocked 84 mph to the bags from the outfield as well. At the plate, sits in an even base. Uses a short/simple move showing minimal waisted movement. Hands work into a higher set. Barrel path is more direct to the baseball, trying to work more down-and-through with a high finish. Shows over the fence power potential. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
