Jhett Reidhead is a 2026 RHP/1B, UT with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Queen Creek, AZ who attends Casteel. Big, athletic frame with a sturdy lower half and wide shoulders. Arm speed is present on the mound, throwing out o a high three-quarter arm slot. Has a simple operation and repeats it consistently. Short side step with a high leg lick into a quarter turn and works downhill. Has medium arm action and arm is quick. Breaking ball has a slurvy look that has 11-5 shape. Fastball has arm side run and he is not afraid to challenge hitters on the inner half. Showed some good feet and a good set up over at first base, moving well laterally and making quick transfers and accurate double play feeds. Has a wider base at the plate with a toe tap trigger. Bat speed is present with gap to gap power. Beat up the gaps consistently and stayed on the barrel. Named to the West Academic Top Player list.
