Dawson Eftink is a 2027 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Cape Girardeau, MO who attends Notre Dame Regional. Recorded a 7.54 sixty-yard dash at the event. The frame is medium built with some proportional strength for age. Primary infield defender at first-base fields from a low position with chest square to the ball. Has a longer arm action with slower limited foot speed. Will make all the routine plays in front of him. Secondary outfielder Eftink fielded ball with two hands out front, causing some collision with the ball once it hits his glove. Displayed a longer arm action from the outfield as well. During BP, he hit from a tall narrow stance with an aggressive approach. Looked to pull the ball with authority, finding a few barrels. Rotates well through the backside and engages the lower half. Also hit a nice, inside the park homerun to the wall during the game portion. On the mound, the left-handed pitcher utilized a clean over the top slot and extremely long arm action in game. Has a balanced delivery to the plate with some cross body action in his lower half. The fastball topped out at 71 MPH on the weekend with some arm side run through the zone. Curveball was left up in the zone consistently with soft 1/7 action. Will improve with added strength to the frame and physical maturity.
