Hunter Howard is a 2024 RHP/1B, OF, UT with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Simpsonville, SC who attends J L Mann. Primary right-handed pitcher with a stretch only operation. Higher leg kick with a medium arm swing in the back to a high three-quarters release. Athletic mover down the plane, creates easy extension to the plate. Firm fastball with ride out of the hand, up to 90 mph (2180 RPM). Commands the fastball well, showing the ability to hit both corners. Slider breaks well off the fastball plane, true out pitch, up to 78 mph (2357 RPM). Flashed a more traditional curveball in the later innings with tight spin and bit, up to 75 mph (2095 RPM). Excellent student. Named to 2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.
