Eamon Hughes is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-3 130 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Lexington Catholic. Compact and physical frame with strength showing up on his build already. Ran a 9.93 second 60 yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, full windup delivery that starts with a rocker side step up to a high leg lift, takes the arm back to a full arm action staying loose through the back, releases from a high 3/4 arm slot, strides short down the mound and creates an uphill release to the plate, stays well-balanced on his back leg and strides closed off to the plate, fastball topped out at 59 mph and gets his best command when reaching out over his front side and keeping his pitches down in the zone, will need to add an offspeed pitch to his repertoire for added effectiveness. Also worked out in the outfield and at first base showing sound actions and similar arm strength from each position. Left-handed hitter, open stance and a high hand set in the box, looks to lift with the swing to do so, sits back on the baseball and manages to have the hand speed to meet the ball out in front.
