Troy Kim is a 2029 C/OF with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Fullerton, CA. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate with a slight turn in drills, does a nice job of staying low through actions and gains some ground, will continue to refine overall footwork, shorter release tight from ear, shows accuracy and some on line carry down to second base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a medium hand set closer to body. Tends to get to front side early with weight shift at times, utilizes a contact oriented approach and does a nice job of working the middle of the field, will continue to develop with added physical strength.
