Dallas Brooks is a 2025 C/UT with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Colora, MD who attends John Carroll. Features an athletic frame with some lean strength and quality projection. Ran a 7.02 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, operated from a side-saddle set up. A tad tall at reception but showed strong catch/throw skill. Showed quickness out the crouch were he gained significant ground with good direction. Exchange was compact/quick and occurred at the mid-chest. Kept a clean/short AA where he got off throws with easy effort strength and put 4/5 of his throws right on the bag. At the plate, he sits in a taller/narrow stance with tight/higher set hands. Uses a simple forward move as the hands drop slightly into launch. Stayed behind it and balanced. Kept a shorter swing path with a high finish where he tries to operate more short-to-long through. Trouble getting extended at times which caused a majority of GBs throughout his rounds. Quality bat/hand speed was present though as all his GBs came off the bat at 90+ and found a loud LD barrel on his last swing of BP that came off at 104 EV. Committed to Maryland.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
