Mason Teal is a 2026 C/RHP, UT with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Kannapolis, NC who attends A L Brown. Tall, athletic build with long levers and great physical projection. Right-handed hitter, medium base with a high back elbow in the stance, short and simple swing with a level barrel plane through the zone. Good bat speed with an all fields approach and hit hard liners to all fields throughout batting practice. Primary catcher, right knee down setup, comes out of the setup well with obvious athleticism. Mid body exchange into a higher release point, good arm strength shown throughout the round, throws on the correct side of the bag recorded up to 73 mph and a pop-time of 2.05. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side steps into a moderate leg lift, long arm action to a lower three-quarters slot. Fastball got up to 84 mph and sat in the low-80s with sinking action. Mixed in a curveball in the low-70s (1754 RPM) with 11-5 shape. Has good deception due to crossfire delivery. Tremendous student. Named to 2024 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
