Declan Schnabel is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 194 lb. frame from Davidsonville, MD who attends Gonzaga College. Big and strong build, especially for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a neutral hand set, small hanging leg lift to time his swing, tends to carry momentum over the plate and lose balance and direction, uphill swing plane, best contact to the opposite field gap, has some strength at contact, plenty of time to work on his swing mechanics and projects well due to his strength. Primary third baseman on defense, has a long over the top arm action with developing arm action, step by step actions through the ball. Good student.
