Mitchell Yoshinaka is a 2028 OF/RHP, 1B with a 5-11 166 lb. frame from Portland, OR who attends Jesuit. Primary outfielder, features a longer, athletic, projectable frame with room to add. Does a nice job positioning the body in front and fielding the baseball out front while working through towards the target. Arm is loose with whip, while staying accurate to the bags. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a three-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball, changeup. Smooth, easy operation that stays balanced and he repeats it. Commands the zone and locates in all-four quadrants with developing arm speed. Medium base at the plate with a low back elbow and a slightly open stance. Short, compact swing with a level barrel path and an up the middle approach. Rhythm within the swing and repeats it well. Swings with intent with pull side power present. More power to come with growth and development. Ran a 7.74 sixty yard dash. Named to the 2024 14U Northwest All-State Top Player List.
