Matthew Pritchard is a 2021 C/UT with a 5-10 205 lb. frame from Fountain Hills, AZ who attends Fountain Hills. Compact frame with present strength throughout build. Ran an 8.05 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with sound fundamental actions, comes up slightly early at receiving but gains ground well during a quick release and generates accurate throws to bags. Right-handed hitter, uses a short and simple swing to get the barrel head out and create jump to the pull side. Will improve results as he incorporates more of the lower half into contact, but has the strength to generate some carry when squared.
