Rodrigo Colon is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Juana Díaz, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Medium frame with a lean build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.19 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes a good first step in his read off the bat; slows momentum some at the gather point but funnels it cleanly to a shorter arm action as he makes low throws to the bag with arm strength clocked up to 79 mph. Righthanded hitter, sets up even in his base and uses a simple process to contact; swing has some length to it on a linear swing plane generating lifted contact to either gap that projects as he gets stronger. Good student.
