Bentley Poole is a 2028 2B/RHP, C, 3B, SS, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-4 110 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Woods. Young athlete with lean build, wiry strength and all sorts of time to add overall physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Primary position infielder, showing some good athleticism and quick feet as he gets into his angles. Has a feel for the glove and secures the ball with ease working into a deep midline transfer. Throws across the diamond with accuracy up to 70 mph and similar action from the outfield with feeds up to 67 mph to bags. Secondary RHP, working from the full windup and on the 1B side of the rubber. Uses belt high leg lift and breaks into deep arm path before accelerating through a high 3/4 arm angle. Emerging strength and explosiveness in the delivery that generated a fastball ups to 71 mph living on the plate. Only flashed a couple breakers that showed shorter break with vertical shape in the upper-50s. RHH working from a medium closed stance with higher handset and tilted barrel to start. Comes out of his base a bit costing some power but solid fundamental mechanics that will play with strength. Stayed on the barrel throughout the round with lower-line drives in the middle of the field. Very good student as well.
