Isaac Alvarez is a 2029 1B/OF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength throughout, additional room to develop moving forward. Ran an 8.98 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball closer to body, gets it out of the glove well and works into a shorter arm action with a clean exchange, shows carry on throws across diamond and will continue to refine a consistent release point. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; hands stroke, gets extended out front well with a high finish through the ball. Utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing and loads hands back at start, incorporates strength well into swing at the point of contact. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
