JT Tow is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 169 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona. Features a bigger build with a higher waist and some present strength. Ran a 8.10 60-yd dash. At 1B, showed decent footwork where his glove displayed well and early and where he fields it clean. Fields it with one hand and at times off to the side. On all throws he lengthened out the arm action where he made accurate throws across with avg. strength for his level. Can work on quickness in getting to release. At the plate. he sits in a spread stance with loose hands hanging over home plate. Tow uses a simple forward move where his hands takeback into an extended fashion getting into a slight arm bar. It's a more lofted uphill stroke for Tow where he lived to the pullside. Results were solid providing a LD filled round of BP. On the mound, he side steps into a chest high knee tuck. Similar arm action as 1B at times where he lengthens it out the glove and to release out of a lower 3/4 slot. He lands on-line working more soft which allows for a avg. lead leg block. He ran his FB up to 78 and it flashed some sinking action at times. Most used secondary was his upper 50 slider that had some 2-7 break. Also flashed a upper 60s changeup he killed a bunch of spin on and in effect will induce some future whiffs below barrels.
