Dalton Zultanski is a 2026 SS/RHP, C, 2B, OF with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Osceola, IN who attends Penn. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow throughout. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with a wide base, takes shorter steps on the approach, will continue to refine overall actions, medium arm action and works on top of throws, shows some accuracy across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, rock step into a belt high leg lift, long arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point, some drop and drive with lower half. Some effort out front, fastball topped out at 73 mph, gets inconsistent with release point, flashed a curveball up to 61 mph. Listed as switch-hitter, only took reps from right side, begins with an even stance and utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing. Long and linear swing path through the zone, full one handed finish through point of contact. Looks to lift out front and occasionally gets uphill with path, puts the bball in play to pull side consistently, can continue to incorporate additional lower half into mechanics. Very good student.
