Sam Simons is a 2008 3B/P/C with a 6'1'', 210 lb. frame from Great Falls, VA who attends St Alban's School. Strong well-developed build, good strength in swing, good raw power, nice extension, level swing plane, can hit to all fields, short arm action from the outfield, clean footwork, accurate arm behind the plate, quick release, good feel for the game, solid instincts, 3/4 arm slot on the mound, long arm action, good arm speed, late run on fastball, tight spin on slider and curveball, good feel for pitching, strong student.
