Owen Lieb is a 2026 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from San Marino, CA. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout and develop physically moving forward. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, sound footwork on the move and aggressive on the charge, fields the ball out front and shows sound glove skills at the ball, longer transfer into a short/compact arm action, repeats well and has a nice foundation to build upon. Also pitched, side step moving into a higher leg lift, slight and quick gather on backside, breaks into a compact arm action with a tight three-quarters release point. Worked exclusively off of the fastball in this view, mostly true in life through the zone, topped out at 77 mph with more in the tank. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tall and narrow stance, high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Gliding step moving into contact, can continue to incorporate additional weight shift through lower half. Contact oriented approach, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength, gets hands out front at point of contact, occasionally onto front side early, short finish through the ball.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
