Gary Pearce is a 2027 C/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends West Fork High School. Compact and athletic frame with burgeoning strength in both halves. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, deep and high side saddle setup, very heavy in the quads, two hand gather to transfer at times on the throws, developing actions here overall, has some idea with good direction, things to refine but a base in place to project on. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup from the middle of the rubber, slow rocker step to full high three-quarter slot, long arm action, developing shape on the curveball that flashed 11-5 at times, worked hard to find the zone throughout the outing. Took reps in the infield, steep over the top slot that matches his primary spot better, solid glove out front, more corner actions in the dirt given size and current coordination. Right-handed hitter, narrow and slightly open base, high hands and back elbow set, creating extension nicely and catching liners to all fields out front, some hand speed on him, stronger in the hands and forearms, showed an ability to get the barrel on it with consistency. Worked very hard behind the dish, solid piece in game as well back up the middle for a knock. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
