Peyton Osheaski is a 2028 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 189 lb. frame from Gainesville, GA who attends Gainesville. Long and lean high waisted/broad shouldered athletic build with some present strength and big physical projection remaining. Primary first baseman who shows a higher ceiling on the mound at present. Works exclusively from the stretch on the mound with a coiled leg raise start and hard rotation down the mound, 3/4's arm slot, has some energy and recoil at release, holds his mechanics together well with his athleticism. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with some cutting action down and good carry up. Slider was a good pitch with feel for landing it and some sweeping depth, also sold a low 80's change up well. 7.13 runner in the sixty. High effort thrower both at first base and in the outfield, developing actions at both positions with drill emphasis on the arm. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with a short leg raise trigger, uphill swing plane, flashed some strength at contact, big hand hitch/drop will get him mis-timed, best power to the middle of the field. Good student. Named to the PG Southeast HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
