Jacob Sheinbein is a 2027 C/1B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Strake Jesuit College Prep. Primary catcher with a medium sized frame and good athletic build with more added strength to come. Sets up in a traditional stance and showed a clean exchange with a solid release. Throws made online with good accuracy and was consistent with his actions. Recorded a 1.90 pop time and was up to 75 from behind the dish. Right-handed hitter with a wider base and high handset. Swing works to the middle of the field the best but can go the other way as well. Load gets deep and will need to be more consistent with timing. Showed good impact to Left center. Also ran a 7.12 sixty. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
