Preston Dabdoub is a 2025 OF/2B/3B with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends The Dunham. Medium build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, wide base with high hands in the stance, short heel lift trigger, busy hands in the load with an uphill barrel path and looks to lift at impact often. Quality strength to the middle of the field when in rhythm. Primary outfielder, fields the ball cleanly with one hand on the side of the frame, choppy footwork working through the baseball, comes out of the hand nicely and extremely accurate to both bags. Recorded throws up to 78 mph. Secondary second baseman, clean footwork getting to the spot, fields out front cleanly with softness in the hands, longer arm swing to a higher release point and similar arm strength as we saw in the outfield. Recorded throws up to 79 mph.
