Gavin Wagner is a 2025 SS/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Millersville, MD who attends Old Mill. Slender young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight balanced start, upper body rotational swing with limited lower half use, long downhill swing path, hits to all fields, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and lower half use. 7.87 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, works low behind the ball and presents his glove early, moves well to his back hand, arm works well and projects. Also took a turn on the mound, has a short arm takeaway in back, gets down the mound well with his lower half, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 80 but worked mostly in the mid 70's, threw lots of strikes with his fastball and attacked hitters. Also threw a soft short slider. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
