Yamato Takahashi is a 2025 OF/UT with a 5-8 172 lb. frame from Hartland, WI who attends Arrowhead. Medium frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front and charges with intent, longer arm action through the backside, occasionally gets under the ball at release, nice carry and strength when on top of ball, showed accuracy to the intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and spread stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; barrel wrap at start and utilizes a simple leg lift trigger, turns hard and stays short to the ball from launch. Remains compact through the zone, able to genreate lift and impact to the pull side in air; consistent swing and lived on the barrel throughout his round, ball jumped well when squared up. Excellent student.
