Owen Mikin is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Hinckley, OH who attends St Ignatius. Long lean frame with good strength projection. Ran a 7.91 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives deep out front, longer transfers and arm stroke to release but showed big present arm strength out of the crouch, up to 75 on his throws and projects as things get quicker with maturity. Also pitches, methodical delivery with good pace, has some arm speed in a loose arm already, carries the fastball well through the zone up to 80 mph, has feel for bigger breaking ball with healthy downer shape, good velocity ceiling given the physical projection and looseness with arm speed. Right-handed hitter, rocks back hard and moves in well, very inside the ball hand path with developing bat speed, mostly linear through the zone and will flash some strength, will gain more consistency through maturity but good power projection.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
