Payne Hotman is a 2027 OF/RHP/C with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Tyler, TX who attends Tyler Legacy. Uber athletic build with already well-defined strength in frame. Primary outfielder with simply loud arm talent. Huge carry from the grass and low line throws. Jumps a good bit out of hand. Catcher who also popped a 1.71 time with a powerful arm behind the plate. Catch and throw skills with loads of carry to the bag, gets quick out of crouch well. Right-handed pitcher from a high three-quarter slot and full arm swing, very quick arm with some late run from a high three-quarter release. Can really kill spin on a fading changeup for whiffs and filled the zone. Right-handed hitter, narrow base and stride with explosive hands that work into contact. Huge bat speed and looks to leverage barrel out front. Contact played best deep to the pull side and power remains enticing, big tools. Named to Top Prospect list.
