Tai Jones is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Brandon, MS who attends Brandon. Tall and physical build with good present strength and plenty of projection remaining. Two-way prospect with big arm talent and lots of athleticism. 7.21 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has a long and loose arm action with very good carry, one hop accuracy, works through the ball aggressively with good fundamental footwork. Right handed hitter, starts from a slightly wide base with a still tight hand load, has a tight turn and keeps his hands tight through contact, can extend better through contact, mostly pull side contact, showed his power potential well. Has a balanced delivery on the mound that he repeats well, high 3/4's arm slot from a long and loose arm action, low effort overall mechanics. Fastball was mostly in the upper 80's and topped out at 90 mph, gets arm side running life. Threw a sweeping curveball as his breaking ball, still developing his consistency and arm speed on the pitch. Outstanding student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
