Carter Loren is a 2028 C/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Ranburne, AL who attends Ranburne. Loren ran a 7.45 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary Catcher with a young athletic frame with plenty of room for additional strength to be added. Behind the plate starting with a higher hip set, receiving the ball off to the side with softer hands. He creates plenty of direction to second base with accurate throws on a hop. Secondary Middle Infield fielding the ball cleanly with a two handed funnel out in front getting the glove down early. Changing angles on the arm slot with accurate throws to first base. On the mound working a simple operation with a hip height leg lift into a short compact arm action through the back side. Loren is a strike thrower mixing two pitches In the zone efficiently. Mixing in a fastball that peaks at 67mph with some run and a breaking ball with 11-5 break with late depth to it. Right handed hitter in the box with a medium length slightly open base working in a big knee lift trigger. The bat speed is still developing through the zone as when on time and creating rhythm he works a middle of the field approach. Loren is an excellent student in the classroom.
