Antonio Marino is a 2029 C/RHP/OF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from North Fort Myers, FL who attends Middle School. Strong and thick athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and upright stance, repeats his load and timing well, has quick and loose hands and present bat speed, hits through contact well, has hitting tools with a good approach to build from. 7.05 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up one knee down in his stance, gains ground into his throws well, nice young arm strength and makes accurate throws, pretty quick and clean in all his actions, will stand straight up to throw at times. Also worked out in the outfield, arm plays well out on the grass with developing footwork and agility through the ball. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full windup with a compact delivery and a longer 3/4's arm path, arm is fast and loose and the ball comes out clean. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with nice ride up in the zone and some run down. Still developing feel for a curveball, can see him throwing hard one day. Named to the 14U Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
