2023 High School All State Select Championship (2026-2027 Grads)
Samuel Miller is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Brandon, MS who attends Jackson Prep. Medium frame. On the dirt, he shows quality actions with the leather esepecially to the backhand. Transfers quickly into strong accurate throws across the diamond. Not a super twtichy mover but more than capable of working laterally. Right-handed hitter, narrow base with a high back elbow. Initial move is a hovering kick that gains separation as he strides. Path works downhill to impact with an approach that is geared middle to pull. On the mound, its a stretch only operation with belt high lift and subtle drop and drive tendencies. Syncs it up well and gets to a consistent high three-quarters release. Fastball plays true and had success going up the ladder. Breaking ball showed soft 11-5 action, threw a pair that showed sharpness to dig below the zone. Live arm and spin triats for the present age/size. Decent projection overall. 7.78 60-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
