Carter LaBrie is a 2025 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Brandon, SD who attends Brandon Valley. Long and lean athletic build. Primary right handed pitcher, has an over the top arm slot with a big upper body lean to let his arm through, can improve on his directional consistency, some effort on release, delivery mechanics were more consistent from the stretch. Has good raw arm strength, topped out at 75 mph on his fastball, gets good riding life up in the zone. Still developing feel for his breaking ball release point. Developing consistency in his delivery will be key to his development. Right handed hitter, lots of movement in his swing with a back leg collapse and big head action, creates good raw bat speed and swings hard but will have to calm and simplify his approach for more consistent contact. 8.08 runner, plays third base when not on the mound and shows some athleticism going after the ball. Good student.
