Tristan Woods is a 2029 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Middleburg, FL who attends Middleburg. Compact, medium framer with plenty of room to fill out. Recorded a 7.78 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked from the stretch exclusively. Repeats delivery well with some deception due to coiled leg lift and cross-body landing. Fastball worked in the 69-75 mph range throughout his outing from a near side-arm slot, flashing natural arm-side run and occasional sink to it. Sweeping breaking ball was go-to secondary offering and completed his three-pitch mix with a slightly faded changeup. Will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Secondary outfielder with sound footwork into the fielding process, while maintaining momentum into release. Produced fairly accurate throws up to 72 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly crouched, open base with a tight hand set and inward stride into launch. Drifts slightly into launch, which creates uphill swing path and some looseness to his hands. Developing feel for the barrel with pullside intent and budding power potential. Will improve with lower half refinements and additional strength. Developing young prospect with upside on both sides of the ball.
