Gavin Brown is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Westland, MI who attends Canton. Primary left-handed pitcher with a compact build. Works from the wind-up with a leg raise above belt. Works down in line with the plate well. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with shorter arm action. Also played outfield working through the ball well and fielded it cleanly from his front side. Has quick feet and is developing arm strength. Ran a 7.85 sixty. Left-handed hitter with an open base. Loads deep and rotates hard at the top half of things. Showed some ability to impact it to pull well. Swing stays compact through the zone. Good student.
