2022 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Brendan Fritch is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Broomfield, CO who attends Broomfield. Athletic build that plays well on both sides of he ball. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Primary catcher, works from a low slight side saddle stance, showed off his athleticism, moved well out of the stance. Displayed soft hands with a quick transfer and gains good ground on throws down to second. Was clocked up to 71 mph, threw a 2.15 pop time on throws down to second base. Consistently made accurate throws on a line, still developing the arm strength but will continue to get stronger as he gets older. Right-handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance, strides to closed. Showed the ability to hit the ball well to all fields, crushed a homerun to left field on aline. Displayed a quick level swing with good bat speed that stays long through the zone. Excellent student.
