Carlitos Nunez is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Simi Valley, CA who attends Royal. He ran a 7.68 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a long lean build. On the mound he starts with a side step into a high lift lift with a longer arm action out of the glove working to a high three-quarter arm slot, the fastball sat 77-79 mph with good arm speed as he drops and drives down the mound, he throws the curveball with good arm speed getting 12-6 shape and could get better bite with more extension out front while the changeup shows projectable qualities in the low 70's. Right-handed hitter, takes a simple approach with hard hit line drives from gap to gap getting good extension through the baseball as he ins consistently on time. Good student.
