Carter Cox is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Venice, FL who attends Venice Senior. Young athletic build with lots of room and time to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a short and direct swing, creates some young barrel whip with his fast hands, stays behind the ball well and hits to all fields, project very well as a hitter. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is athletic to the ball and showed some range in the alleys, gets behind his throws well and makes on line accurate throws. Also worked out at first base. Took a turn on the mound, has a well balanced delivery with a loose and fast 3/4's arm stroke, some energy at release. Fastball worked up to 81 mph, depended heavily on a soft mid-60's curveball, tended to slow his arm on his curveball and aim it. Developing change up. Can afford to challenge more with his fastball. Very projectable young athlete.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
